This series of Yaw-Pitch-Roll stages is ideal for pointing and the precise measurement of compound angles or the curvature of an object.
The YPR-100-100-100-01 is stepper motor driven, the YPR-100-100-100-02 is brushless servo motor driven with quadrature optical encoder and the YPR-100-100-100-03 is DC servo motor driven with quadrature optical encoder.
The all three axes are capable of rotation of large angles and feature a 180:1 ratio gear. The typical position accuracy is 0.05 degrees and repeatability is +/- 0.01 degrees.
The knobs of the stepper motors can be replaced with optional optical encoders for position verification.
The YPR-100-100-100-02 and YP100-10-03 feature servo motors and optical quadrature encoders for very precise closed loop operation and greater speeds. All axes include a HOME switch for initialization.
The
YPR-100-100-100 stages require a
Motion Controller
that can be ordered as a complete plug-and-play system with joystick, trackball, and keypad.
