Modes of Motion

1) Jogging

The motor moves at a constant velocity.

2) Absolute Move

The motor moves to a point referenced to the zero position.

3) Relative Move

The motor moves to a point referenced to the current position.

4) Coordinated Move

The motors move simultaneously. In a Cartesian system, the net motion could be a line or an arc.

The motion controller has a set of commands to set the acceleration, velocity, final position and the move type. Please consult Operating and Programming Reference Manual.
